How does it work ?

You need a computer with existing internet connection, for example GSM (mobil), Inmarsat or Iridium. The computer needs a USB-connection or a free PCI-plug.
You get from our provider a Sat-Modem and a installations CD.
After the installation you must only switch your SAT TV antenna to the right satellite and engage the existing internet connection.

We can provide the full service if desired.

The request of the webpage (only some bytes) carried out by your existing internet connection, the download ( a lot of kilobyte ) procede via Satellite.

Whats the maximum speeed ?

The maximal speed is up to 4000kbits/sec.
The most DSL-connections in Spain works with 1000kbits/sec.
The older ISDN (RDSI) works with 64 kbits/sec.
Because your existing internet connection must acknowledge the reception of a data-package, you will not get the full sat speed with a slowly connection.
Here are some values following our experiences:
-with Inmarsat MINI-M_(2,4 kbits/sec) appr. speed is   56 kbits/sec.
-with Iridium_________(2,4 kbits/sec) appr. speed is   48 kbits/sec
-with GSM-Modem___(9,6 kbits/sec) appr. speed is  200 kbits/sec
-with GSM-GPRS____(53 kbits/sec) appr. speed is 1000 kbits/sec
-with GSM-UMTS____(384 kbits/sec) appr. speed is 4000 kbits/sec
-with WLAN_________(56 kbits/sec) appr. speed is 1000 kbits/sec

How to receive emails ?

While the antenna is pointed to the satellite and the computer is engaged, you receive emails without your existing internet connection ( offline ). The emails will be transmitted several times. Emails will be stored until you approve the erase via a online connection.

It´s possible to receive websides offline ?

Yes, you can subscribe some webpages , or engage via SMS or email your downloadslave. The related webside will be delivered with email.
